Volunteer Opportunities

 

Volunteer Coordinator  

(Estimated 3 hrs per week)

​

Duties include:

 

• Weekly communication with Site Volunteers.

• Manage Warehouse sign-up weekly.

• Host Annual Volunteer Appreciation event each year.

​

School Liaison

(Estimated 1.5 hrs per week)

 

Duties include:

​

• Weekly site visit.

• Establish and maintain relationship with site contact.

• Communicate needed items to office.

• Pick-up needed items from the warehouse and deliver to site.

​

Grant Writer

(Estimated 2 hrs per week)

​

Duties include:

​

• Researching potential grants.

• Writing proposals to apply for financial grants.

​

Volunteering & Supervising

 

(High Schools only. Estimated 4 hrs per week)

​

Duties include:

​

• Open and supervise closet once per week (once Covid restrictions are lifted).

• Weekly site visit.

• Establish and maintain relationship with site contact.

• Communicate needed items to Volunteer Coordinator.

• Pick-up gathered items from the school district and

      deliver to site.

​

Fundraising Committee

(Estimated 4 hrs per week)

 

Duties include:

 

• Monthly meetings March-August

• Committee participation
